Coastal Wave Marine lists Cummins QSB6.7 marine diesel engines for new installations and repower projects. Current listings include models from 250 to 550 hp. The right option depends on your vessel, required engine speed, operating profile, and propulsion setup—not horsepower alone. Explore our full range of Cummins marine engines.
The QSB6.7 is a 6.7-liter, inline six-cylinder, four-stroke diesel engine with turbocharging, aftercooling, and a high-pressure common-rail fuel system. Cummins publishes marine ratings from 230 to 550 hp. The available ratings include different outputs and duty classifications, so confirm that the specific configuration suits the vessel and how it will be operated. Review the Cummins QSB6.7 marine specifications for manufacturer details.
When comparing QSB6.7 options, check rated RPM and the engine’s duty rating alongside horsepower. An engine intended for intermittent or high-output operation may not be appropriate for a vessel that needs to run continuously at a high load. The engine rating, gear ratio, propeller, and vessel operating profile should be considered together.
For a repower, compare the existing engine’s model, serial number, rated RPM, and rating with the proposed QSB6.7. Also check gearbox make and ratio, shaft rotation, engine dimensions, mounting, cooling, exhaust, controls, and electrical connections. A similar horsepower figure alone does not confirm a drop-in fit. Depending on the power requirement and installation, you can also compare Cummins QSB4.5 marine engines, Cummins QSC8.3 marine engines, and available marine gearboxes.
Rating, emissions certification, and available features depend on the particular engine configuration and application. Before ordering, have the exact model and rating checked against your vessel’s requirements and the regulations for its operating region.
To help identify a suitable option, include your boat make, model, and application; required horsepower and rated RPM if known; current engine model and serial number for a repower; gearbox make, model, and reduction ratio; delivery country and postal code; and photos of the engine data plate and installation, if available. Contact Coastal Wave Marine to request a QSB6.7 quote and confirm the engine configuration, availability, warranty eligibility, and shipping terms.
